The historic 1924 Landsborough Shire Council Chambers is a state heritage-listed building and was the former chambers for the Landsborough Shire Council until 1967. The collection itself provides a fascinating insight into the lives of Sunshine Coast residents through the lens of farming, industry, tourism, transport and communication.

The Landsborough School of Arts Memorial Hall was also established in 1924. Initially the land was transferred to Trustees by John Tytherleigh in 1921 . At that time, the Trustees were appointed to hold the land on trust for a School of Arts. For many years the hall was used for dances, a picture theatre and generally as a community meeting place. The Street Festival is held during the Australian Heritage Month, the country's largest community-driven heritage event, with the theme 'Connections'. Connections highlights the rich and diverse stories of our community, strengthening our cultural and historical ties to the land and to each other.
